Tornike Kvaratskhelia has been in Munich and played a trial match on Tuesday for FC Bayern U17s against the Global Academy of club legend Klaus Augenthaler. Chief scout Nils Schmadtke watched the Georgian left winger. Kvaratskhelia displayed impressive technical skills, even though there was still room for improvement when it comes to physicality and intensity. Overall, he made a good impression during his trial and scored a spectacular goal in the U17's 3-1 win

However, because Georgia is not part of the EU, Kvaratskhelia can only move to Munich at 18. This period could be bridged with a suitable loan club. Red & Gold's partner clubs would be a suitable option. In 2018, a move for the older brother, Khvicha, fell through due to a similar issue. The current PSG star was brought to Bayern's training ground for a trial at the behest of Marco Neppe - Bayern were determined to sign him, but he was only 16 years old at the time. And a suitable loan club could not be found. Thus, the move to Munich never materialized

Tornike watched last night's game from the stands of the Allianz Arena. If Bayern can find a way to sign him through one of their partner clubs, he could theoretically join the club once he turns 18
