I believe we are seeing the emergence of the third wellness pillar: Faith
50 years ago, Fitness became the first pillar.
15 years ago, we started taking Food seriously.
Now, as we journey into the most connected era in history, faith is becoming ever more integral.
We are wildly outside the realm of where we think AI actually is in day to day implementation across different teams. But I think this is really a dual use tooling problem of shoe-horning things into UI. Billing is going to be the truly last thing to die.
It must be fundraising season in the Decision Platform space as I got 3 calls today from different investment research firms all asking the same questions about Decision platforms.
I think most investors are getting this space wrong.
A thread 🧵
The real questions to ask are:
How sticky is the platform once a customer matures?
What happens when clients realize they can build this themselves?
Is the AI roadmap real, or is it a feature announcement dressed up as a strategy?
People (especially tech people) seem to have no grasp of history, which leads to incorrect conclusions.
Are you aware that U.S Steel and DuPont had their factories requisitioned during WW1 and became de facto arms manufactures?
That during WW2 Ford stopped most car production and built B-24 bombers at Willow Run.
Even Coca-Cola was forced into directing supplies to the frontlines?
This is simply standing operating procedure for democracies. The point of government is to provide defense for its people.
The pushback has nothing to do with what’s being asked, but simply is a result of the demise of civic responsibility and love for this country.
