@bchesky never using airbnb EVER again and neither should anyone else. i would rather sleep on the street than think i’m safe in a place only to have some random man show up at my fire escape to remove all the beds and the police tell me i’m staying in an illegal listing.

@bchesky really feels like i’m being taken for a ride by AIRBNB right now, haven’t even once been offered a refund for my reservation, or for the hotel i had to book when i was EVICTED, OR for still being sick because i was at the time of the eviction. safety team? yeah right.

@bchesky not being able to get into my airbnb at 4am because it’s illegally run is one thing, being evicted that day by 3 police officers and the building manager because the host is illegally operating the space, is another. i’ve received NO HELP whatsoever. WTF???

@bchesky just spent another hour on the phone with the 3rd airbnb support employee this week. apparently the police evicting you in the middle of the night from your illegally run airbnb isn’t urgent enough to be addressed by your safety teams? UNFUCKINGACCEPTABLE.
