@Santehops @deaaa_8 These petitions are used as a way to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis happening in yemen since the news won’t talk about it. Of course the people of Yemen need food, water and money but in order for that to happen people need to learn and realize what is happening there
A lot of people have been replying to my tweet saying that petitions aren’t gonna stop the war in Yemen. I know that much more needs to happen for the war in Yemen to stop but these petitions help raise awareness for a cause that is otherwise not talked about on the news.
Don’t forget about Yemen when tomorrow comes! Yemen needs us! Yemen is suffering from the worlds worst humanitarian crisis. Yemen can’t wait. #FREEMENA#YemenCantWait
🧵 on Yemen:
- yemen is on the verge of extinction. It is the worst humanitarian crisis in the last 100 yrs.
- 46% of the population are under 15
- it isnot ‘natural’. It’s the direct result of UK/US arms trade with Saudi who have not been held accountable
Yemen is going through the LARGEST humanitarian crisis and the media doesn’t cover it. These are families and children that really need our help but no one wants to hear the cries of children begging for security. Your silence will wipe out all of YEMEN. We must do something now.
If Yemen was 100 people. 80 need aid to survive. 60 barely have anything to eat. 58 have NO access to clean water. 52 have NO access to healthcare. 11 are severely about to die from starvation. But Yemen isn’t 100 people. It’s 30 million people. 💔
@kingkong1991202 I didn’t create the donation websites. However, they are extremely popular donation websites. Donation websites like unicef are highly safe and not a scam.
Unicef declared Yemen as the largest humanitarian crisis in the past 100 years, yet the media still doesn’t cover it. 22million people are suffering and starving to death. Imagine not having a meal everyday or a roof over your head.
