A wise person once told me, “Don’t share your business unless there’s a reason they need to know.” That advice changed my life. Privacy isn’t secrecy it’s protection. Not everyone needs access to your plans, problems, or relationships.
One thing about me, I’m gon’ find a way. Life can knock me down, plans can fall apart & people can doubt me, but I refuse to stay stuck. I done started over, took losses & faced things that could’ve made me quit… and I’m STILL here. I don’t fold when life gets hard. I adjust, learn the lesson & come back better. I’ll never bet against myself because I know what I’m capable of. Pressure don’t stop me… it builds me. 💯
I’m so into me right now. The best thing you can do is isolate, lock in, and focus on yourself before anything else. At the end of the day, all you truly have is YOU!
A wise person once told me “don’t tell people your business unless there’s a reason it benefits you for them to know”. As someone who used to tell people everything, I took that advice seriously and honestly, it changed my life. Not everyone needs access to your plans, your problems, your relationships or the things you’re still figuring out. The more you grow, the more you realise that privacy isn’t secrecy. It’s protection. Some things become more peaceful the moment you stop explaining them to everyone.
BABY, SOMETIMES SILENCE IS THE ANSWER. You don’t have to explain, defend, or respond to everything. Sit back, be quiet, and let people show you who they are.
the older i get, the more i see why it's important to only keep people around who have the same morals, manners, and sense of consideration as you. you reach a certain stage in life, where chaos and disrespect just aren't entertaining anymore...
I don’t judge nobody because I know what it’s like to THUG IT OUT IN SILENCE. To wake up drained and still handle your responsibilities. To feel alone around people who swear they love you. To stop opening up because the last time you were vulnerable, somebody used your own words against you. To keep everything bottled up and still walk around like you’re GOOD. 🥴 I’ve been through things I don’t even talk about, but somehow I keep getting up and figuring that shit out. You really never know what somebody is carrying behind that smile. 💯❤️🩹
