This is so true. There are so many levels of grief…it creeps in at some of the most random times…Or when you hear, see or smell something familiar. It never truly leaves you.💔🥺

For all the things that divide us, grief is a universal language and a defining part of the human experience. At some point, every one of us will love someone we have to say an earthly goodbye to.

I am still learning how to walk through each day carrying the grief I feel for my Charlie. Some days I have a vague understanding of God’s plan, others I don’t, but I trust Him completely. He is my only strength. I also know grief can be lonely, and sometimes hearing someone else put words to it makes us feel a little less alone.

I wrote this for anyone who has lost someone they love, anyone sitting in grief now, and anyone who someday will.

Suffering does not get the final word.

Turning 51 in 5 days…And started my life completely over! Single, moved to Las Vegas, and starting a whole new career, totally out of my comfort zone and I’m so happy!! FINALLY! 🎉

And they should support the ones struggling instead of making them feel worse. If you’ve known them long enough you’d know when they’re not “Ok”& you should do what you can to help get them though the rough days. Sadly, some people just put blinders on so they don’t have to care.

When someone doesn’t struggle with depression & anxiety & don’t know/ understand the daily struggles of having it, then they shouldn’t criticize the ones that do. We’re not lazy, or complaining about how we’re feeling. We’re doing what we can to get through the day & feel better.

When you are struggling with “functioning depression” & your Dr. doesn’t put you on medication it doesn’t mean you��re OK. You still struggle to get out of bed & start your day. You still cry almost most mornings..& you still have to put on that daily mask of “everything is Ok”.😔
