The market is not bleeding for one reason.
It is bleeding because everything is hitting together.
Crude is high.
Rupee is weak.
Bond yields are elevated.
Inflation risk is back.
Geopolitical war risk is live.
On top of that:
High LTCG.
High STCG.
Higher STT.
More tax layers on every exit.
So the investor is getting crushed from both sides.
Global shocks are destroying sentiment.
Domestic taxes are reducing the reward for staying invested.
When oil jumps, FIIs sell.
When the rupee falls, imported inflation rises.
When yields rise, equities look expensive.
When taxes stay high, selling becomes the easier decision.
This is not a normal correction.
This is pressure stacking.
You cannot control crude.
You cannot control war.
You cannot control US yields.
You can control STCG, LTCG and STT.
Until that friction comes down, every external shock will keep wiping more wealth.
Market is not weak.
The setup is hostile.
Agree?

And yet the market always recovers eventually
Still compounding.
Still rewarding the patient.
At Stockifi, we encourage all our clients to focus on the bigger picture, as the names of the crisis change every time. The psychology never does.
Fear always sounds smarter than optimism.
Waiting always feels safer than acting.
But nobody who built real wealth waited for the perfect year.
They stayed invested through Black Monday, 9/11, 2008, and COVID.
You create money in a bull market.
You create a fortune in a bear market.
The next crisis is coming. It always does.
The only question that matters: will you be invested when it ends?
UPI Charges Row | Ashneer Grover Exclusive
In technology, India is known for one thing in the world, and that is UPI. Nothing else in the last 14 years. If they want to ruin this too, then it’s political suicide: @Ashneer_Grover speaks to @shreyadhoundial
I fully support @Ashneer_Grover on UPI stand
If govt can spend lacs of crores on freebies then why not spend fraction on keeping UPI free forever?
UPI is the biggest win of India in century
"Banks are sitting on ₹2 lakh crore in profits. Any charges on UPI is just tax collection from Indian citizens by the government."
— Ashneer Grover, Businessman
India mein koi 5 minutes number Google kar le to doodh ka doodh paani ka paani ho jaye.
RBI surplus to Govt : ₹2.87 Lakh Crores (US$30 Bn)
Total listed bank profits : ₹4.11 Lakh Crores (US$42 Bn)
NPCI - which runs UPI pre tax ‘surplus’ : ₹ 1,888 crores (US$200 Mn)
To nuksaan kis ka ho raha hai UPI se aur kaunsi subsidy de rahi hai Govt UPI pe jo chubh rahi hai?
Cost of running ATMs and cash logistics in India is ₹30,500 crores (US$ 3.0 Bn). If you want to optimise shut ATMs and promote UPI instead.
Any levy on UPI is just tax collection. UPI is the one scientific achievement of India everyone acknowledges par ab tax ki bali chadhegi.
Bhai Chandra sahab ke ₹22,000 crores maaf nahi karte to India mein UPI agle 20 saal tak free chal jaata by government’s number of ₹8,000 crores subsidy.
Also NPCI - which runs UPI has ₹6,119 hard cash on its balance sheet and pre tax operating profit of ₹1,900 crores. NPCI apne cash pe and profits par zindagi bhar UPI free chala sakti hai. Government ka kuchh lena dena hi nahi hai. Government earned ₹1,000 crores tax from NPCI last year.
@RubikaLiyaquat
India was once a major sugar exporting country.
Now, we are approving 1 million tonnes of duty free sugar imports. 🍬
The big push towards ethanol blending diverted more sugarcane towards fuel.
And the “benefits” for consumers?
⛽ Costlier fuel
🚗 Lower mileage
💸 Higher vehicle running costs
🍬 Costlier sugar
📈 Rising food inflation
We were exporting sugar. Now we are importing it.
And the funniest part?
Minister Shravan Kumar says many people are cutting down on sugar and many are diabetic, so rising sugar prices may not make much difference.
Apparently, inflation is good if people can simply stop buying the product. 🤷♂️
