Police Brutality: Dutch Police Attack Two Musim Women Without Provocation

Dutch police attacked two Muslim women with batons and kicked one in the stomach outside Hoog Catharijne shopping centre in Utrecht, #Netherlands.

Statement from one of the victim:

“On 26th January 2026, the police at Hoog Catharijne (acted aggressively and in a discriminatory manner towards us. While we were walking away, one sister was struck on the hand with a baton and another sister was hit on the back of her head. Shortly afterwards, one of us was kicked in the stomach without any provocation. Despite our cooperation, the officers continued to strike us with batons. A bystander and his wife were also assaulted and detained after they spoke out against this excessive use of force.”
