@pupzasha@Guts_Swordsman@homofailbot I mean It still doesn't change the fact that Jax got treated better. Yes, it makes sense in canon, but that doesn't mean that it's not a much better ending for him than he deserves
@pupzasha@Guts_Swordsman@homofailbot I'm not talking about the fact that he was put in a tent, he got treated better because he got a whole therapy session with Pomni during his last moments where he was forgiven by her. Other abstracted people weren't given that chance, and it wasnt necessary from them
Saw the Backrooms movie today, one of the best movies that I've seen in my whole life honestly and definitely my favorite horror. The interpretation of the backrooms itself was done so well
i hate tadc's "forgive and forget" mindset with abusers like jax essentially killed two people with abuse and gaslighting, gets multiple episodes and the finale focused on her, arguably the character w the most flushed out story, and is forgiven with zero repentance
I think a better ending to Pomni's character would be if she realised that she can't help everyone. I don't get why after seeing that Jax did all of this to himself and that he can't change, she still wants to help him
@souriz_e@ucudhavbeenany1@context1954 no i get it (even thought the fact he's a main character is very forced) but the finale feels like it's trying to get you to feel bad for jax and to essentially forgive him, its very weird
Now that its like out for real i'm gonna say the refusal to outright say jax is a trans woman was so cowardly lol why go through all the trouble of coding him with the whole jax/ribbit scene and then not even have his real world counterpart transition. make it make sense
