Can we do anything about Vermont's housing crisis?
Most obstacles to affordable housing construction are local!
Let's reform land-use regulations, allow denser infill construction in our town centers, and incentivize walk-able mixed use communities.

What fascinates me about these conversations are the ppl who are like "just go to the grocery store more often"
My brothers & sisters in Hestia, the idea of going to the grocery store every day or even every other day is basically a 7th circle of hell nightmare
@AndrewBylerPA I guess there might be some wishful thinking about padding reductions but idk how much Amtrak is effected by that compared to the commuter railroads
@harrisonfinberg Was biking alongside one on market st and got the sense that I was probably at the lowest risk of getting right hooked as I’d ever be biking in the city
@ninthhostage@AndrewFiggy I'm sure this is true for some people, but a pretty significant fraction of delivery people I see are on rented e-bikes, which have absurdly high rates (at least for Whizz it's 40% annual interest compared to buying outright from them).
BREAKING: I just announced a $30 million plan to fix traffic congestion and keep people safe around the Sports Complex in South Philly.
This area is a major economic and entertainment hub — and too many of us know what it’s like to sit in that traffic.
Whether you’re coming into town for a game or you’re a local who drives on these roads daily, these investments will help you get to where you need to go safely and on time.
