Federalist. Painfully logical. In the beginning was the Word/logos/logic. Unapologetically Christian Biblicist. I follow the Jesus that flipped tables.
1. You would agree that something that contradicts authoritative revelation would need to be rejected.
2. You also "believe" in Christ.
3. Based on your own logic the same would be applied to you that you reject Jesus because thats what the pharisees did.
So your own rebuttal here defeats itself. You are not only strawmanning me, you are strawmanning yourself.
Let think things through before saying them shall we? Ill give you grace and allow you one more rebuttal since that one was..... in a spirit of emotional defiance and not based on logic. I understand. I will give you one more shot. If you dont come up with something coherent, you will get ignored.
If by current dogma you mean the dogma scripture explicitly teaches then yes.
Paul coming back (which he won't and can't) to confirm the prophet Joseph Smith would nullify the scriptural dogma and make the new revelation contradict the old.
At that point I have 2 options. Keep the old dogma in spite of new revelation, or reject all of it entirely because truth cannot contradict itself.
