Your job is important but, so are your workouts, your lunch breaks, vacation days, hobbies, the people waiting for you when you get home.
Works pays for your life. It isn't supposed to replace it.
yeah i hate when my loved ones don’t want to spend sixty fucking dollars on a 20-40 minute uber from the airport and instead expect me, someone who loves them, to sacrifice a single hour of my time to help them out
The quickest way to “get your spark back” is to literally light yourself on fire. You’ve got to burn baby. You’re depressed bc you’re not being insane enough. Double. Down. The world does not reward half ass. All in or out. You’re thinking too small. You’ve accepted your current reality as the only reality. Bullshit. You need to write a list of the most insane asks you could ever dream of. “I am a NYT best selling author. I am the founder of a Fortune 500 company. I paint for a living and I make a damn good living.” Ask and you shall receive. Embody and you become. Flip the fucking script. Your current ceiling is now the floor. Level up.
You need to burn.
i’m learning to pray about everything fr. my attitude, my emotions, my overthinking, my healing, my habits, the people i attract, my lack of motivation sometimes… all of it. i give it to God because i know i can’t carry everything on my own.
A man who lies can’t lead. A man who cheats can’t lead. A man who never takes accountability can’t lead. A man who lets pride, anger, and ego control his decisions can’t lead either. Leadership starts with character. If a man can’t be honest, disciplined, responsible, and respectful, he has no business expecting anyone to trust him with a household.
