He stopped waiting for Wenlang to return
Ten years of love didn’t vanish, it simply found a new home in Lele, the only person who ever made him feel that love was worth giving again 🥺❤️

Q: How did you feel after filming that pivotal scene for Langtu
🌲 I'm exhausted.
Q: After finishing, did you feel a sense of relief or were you left wanting more?
🌲 A sense of relief.
Because I was like a doll being manipulated by them—if they said "roll over," I rolled over; if they said "lift your hand," I lifted my hand; if they said "arch your spine a bit," I did (demonstrates the action).
Q: What was the atmosphere like on set?
🌲 It was very relaxed and joyful, really fun.
Q: Did the directing team or other colleagues give you any special guidance or encouragement?
🌲 Yes, they did. The directing team gave me a tie to wrap around my hand—like this (gestures).
Q: Did you do any preparation before filming?
🌲 Before shooting, I thought about how to portray that state of extreme weakness, feverishness, and being suppressed by pheromones in that scene. I also considered how to convey that dazed, distant look in my eyes and the overall condition.
Q: As the character with the most pre-heat phases in the entire series, do you have any special insights now into portraying that state?
🌲 I think portraying the pre-heat phase is quite draining—it's an internally consuming process. You have to show weakness, tears, and controlled breathing. Managing the breathing rhythm is tricky; if the breaths are too long, it’s easy to feel oxygen-deprived. If anyone ever has to act out a pre-heat phase, I’d suggest coordinating your breathing well.
Q: From an actor’s perspective, what role does this scene play in Langtu’s emotional arc, and what was Gaotu’s psychological state at that time?
🌲 I see this scene as part of the升华 (sublimation) of the two characters’ relationship. Before this, their dynamic was mostly built on unrequited feelings, tension, and misunderstandings. After this incident happens almost by accident, Gaotu’s initial reaction is panic. Then, when Shen Wenlang visits him at home in the next scene, he feels a hint of secret delight but remains very flustered because he doesn’t know how to face Shen Wenlang.
Q: From Gaotu’s perspective, does he want Shen Wenlang to discover that he was the Omega from that night, or not?**
🌲 He doesn’t want to be discovered, because he’s afraid of losing Shen Wenlang. He’s known for years that Shen Wenlang dislikes Omegas, and he’s terrified that if Shen Wenlang finds out his true identity, he’ll stop talking to him altogether. So, he’d rather stay by his side as a lifelong friend—content with that—than risk losing him and being disliked.
Q: If it were from Li Pei'en’s perspective, would you want to be discovered or not?
🌲 I’d prefer not to be discovered—because it’d be too awkward.
