Let me tell you one thing about Ketoconazole tablets that many people that abuse it don't know about.

That's why you don't just take any meds without the Doctor prescribing for you and following instructions.

Now Back to" Ketocanozole" . Even though Ketoconazole fights against Fungi. It does another thing on the side...

There is an organ in your body " called Adrenal gland " close to your kidneys ( see pic). It produces some hormones that help you deal with daily life.

Those hormones like Cortisol amongst many helps you deal with stress, handles your blood pressure, your blood sugar and many more.

Now what KETOCONAZOLE does if abused for a long time.
It goes to the Adrenal glands block all of these productions..causing some sort of failure of the Adrenal gland.

When these glands fail... you can't cope with stress, your blood pressure becomes so dangerously low, blood sugar becomes so low, all the blood chemicals are messed up, the person can go into shock and suddenly die if not attended to on them.

Remember all these started from abusing KETOCONAZOLE tablets.

The Ban is very timely
I've seen few cases.

So before you take that Ketoconazole tablet. Talk to youe Doctor and Pharmacist.
Oh there won't be next time, it has been stopped 😂😂😂

Also it interacts with lot of drugs by affecting how enzyme works.

I am so happy NAFDAC has discontinued the registration of KETOCONAZOLE.

The abuse of that drug has contributed to the death and hospital admissions of a lot of Nigerians.
