One holiday season, when I worked at Best Buy, a lady tried to return an Alvin and the Chipmunks - Chip Wrecked DVD. When I told her she couldn't return it (Best Buy rules), I'd never seen someone turn so ugly and loud. Then she *threw* the DVD at my head. lol? A few moments later, she asked for the DVD back then left.
When I worked at Sephora, a lady wanted to buy Nars Orgasm blush, and she was so upset with ME when it was out of stock- as if I was hoarding them in my basement. She told me I ruined Christmas for her daughter but included more *colorful* words. Then she kinda spit on my shoes..? It was weird, had to be there.
I've got stories for days…Anyways, be nice to retail workers and just workers in general. Holidays can be rough. Act like a grown-up and keep it together. Maybe throw a fit once you get home or in your car.
Tuesday toilet advice for you. xx
It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours. It’s an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20. I remember making tracklist after tracklist, obsessing over the right way to tell the story. I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now. Therefore, you have 6 From The Vault tracks! I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and the memories it brought back filled me with nostalgia and appreciation. For life, for you, for the fact that I get to reclaim my work. Thank you a million times, for the memories that break our fall. 💥🐉🏰 Speak Now (MY VERSION!) is out now.
