I get what this is trying to say, but I’d tighten it because right now it drifts a little too “suffering = truth.”
Some dismissed outsiders are visionaries.
Some are just wrong.
The valuable trait is not paranoia or obsession by itself. It’s the willingness to stay with a question longer than everybody else, even when there’s no social reward for doing it.
Most real breakthroughs do come from people who looked unreasonable before they looked correct. But you still need judgement, otherwise you end up worshipping every loud contrarian on the internet.
Btw in your 20’s and 30’s you’ll start rediscovering the niche interests and hobbies you had as a kid. It’s very important you revisit them. Your younger self was actually on to something
