EventCatalog 2.17.2 is now out.

With some basic caching the builds are now 80% faster!

We have users documenting their event-driven architecture with over 5,000 pages in their Catalog. If you have large catalogs, then you might want to update 🚀

Today I worked on automatic diffs in EventCatalog 🤩

If you version domains, services or messages, changes to your files (e.g OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, Schemas) will show diffs.

Changelogs in EventCatalog give you the ability to document changes in your system. Not only schemas, but product changes, domain changes, service changes etc. This can be super valuable for your cross functional teams.

Hopefully this new feature for automatic diffs give your teams the ability to quickly see what has changed and help understand the history of your architecture.

@boyney123 Is AWS going to provide a (managed) solution for this somewhen? Currently we run an open source project on Fargate+RDS, which handles also schema validation and evolution.
