Apart from some snarky remarks made by him. His character developments wasn't "Sexist to feminist" it was "A boy who believed he had to prove he could be the son/man his father wanted to a man who realises he is the son/man his father wants and he is already a warrior".

I just wanna say that Sokka was much more than sexist. He was a stubborn character who was driven to prove that he is everything his father is: a warrior. A man who can defend his home. And I think taking Sokka's sexism away in the new live action doesn't really change anything-
