في عالمٍ تملؤه الضغوط، تبرز مواقف إنسانية لبعض الاشخاص والتي تثبت معنى كلمة "الرجولة الحقيقية".

حيث تزوج رجل من إمرأة مطلقه وكان عندها ولد من زوجها السابق وفي احد الايام هرب الطفل إلى عند امه بعد إساءه معاملته من والده الحقيقي .

عندما دخل زوج امه ووجد طفلاً غريباً في منزله، أخبرته زوجته وهي ترتعش انه سوف يكون عندها دار حوار عظيم جداً :

الأم (بتردد): هذا... إنه ابني يا "ماس" (لقب احترام للزوج)، لقد جاء لتوه من القرية. أنا آسفة حقاً.

الأب: ابنك؟ من زوجك السابق؟

الأم: نعم يا ماس، لقد تزوج والده مجدداً، لذا أرسلوه إلى هنا. كنت أخشى ألا تتقبله.

الأب (يتوجه للطفل الذي يبكي): يا بني، لماذا أنت خائف؟ لا داعي للخوف. لقد حسبتُك شخصاً غريباً! لماذا تبكي؟ تعال وكُل، كُل معي.

الأم: هل أنت موافق يا ماس؟

الأب: طبعاً يا حبيبتي، لا بأس. سأعتبره ابني تماماً. لقد أخبرتكِ من قبل أن تحضري ابنكِ ليعيش ويدرس هنا مع إخوته. اعتبريه ابني من لحمي ودمي.

الأم: لكن والدتك قالت إنه لا يمكنه المجيء إلى هنا...

الأب: لا تهتمي لما تقوله أمي أو عائلتي. الأهم هو نحن. أنا أحبكِ وتزوجتكِ، لذا سأقبل ابنكِ أيضاً. (يلتفت للطفل) كُل يا بني، لا تخف.

الطفل (وهو يبكي): لكني أخشى أن تكون "أباً زوجاً" (Step-father) قاسياً وتكرهني.

الأب: لا يوجد شيء اسمه "أب زوج" هنا. انسَ هذه الكلمة. أنت ابني، وأنا والدك. (ينادي أولاده الآخرين) يا زكي، يا زكا، هذا أخوكم، عاملوه كأخ شقيق تماماً، اتفقنا؟

الأولاد: نعم يا أبي.

الأم: لكن المصاريف ستزداد علينا يا ماس.

الأب: لا بأس، لا تقلقي بشأن المال. المهم أن نكون معاً.
