Making crypto semi-permeable and alive

Imagine a cell that has a cell boundary that will let both toxins and nutrients in.

This cell will die soon given adversarial circumstances. In fact a cell is considered dead if there is no chemical gradient between the inside and outside of the cell.

In other words, an open border is not a border.

THAT is the state of crypto today - transaction inclusion is blind to who the transaction is coming from or what it is.

This is a good value to have (censorship resistance), but as a consequence, it allows hackers and users equal access, it allows bots and humans equal access, rogue agi and friendly agi equal access.

It’s not clear this is the right end state.

All natural cells are semi-permeable: allow nutrients in without allowing toxins in.

@0xPredicate is the semipermeable membrane of crypto.

Allowing developers the discretion to create nuanced inclusion policies.

It is possible to give all humans free access while charging bots higher, it is possible to exclude all hack transactions while including all normal transactions, it is possible to include all legal transactions while disallowing illegal transactions.

All this is made better if the base layer is maximally censorship resistant as you can build more custom inclusion policies on top.

That is why @0xPredicate is built on @eigencloud on @ethereum.
