I’m not an expert in this area and therefore I’m sorry if I’m wrong, but I think this film did a very realistic job in portraying how some people suppress awful events, in this case sexual abuse from his aunt. In the beginning/middle of the movie he says something like “she’s the

I also find it interesting how even if you do “pass it on” you still see “it”. It hasn’t completely gone away yet, possibly representing this idea that you can pass it off to relieve yourself, but it’ll still be there haunting you until you fully deal with it #teenfilmSDSU

It’s interesting this play on different types of people in the world. On the one hand you have those who are selfish and will “pass it on” or save themselves even if it means putting someone else’s life in danger. On the other hand you have those willing to sacrifice themselves
