Everyone’s response is dealing with a fly ball beyond first or third that hasn’t touched fair territory yet. For THAT, the bottom of the ball has to hit the actual line.
On the ball in question it already touched in fair territory and is inside the bases, so as long as any part of the ball is over the line, it’s fair.
Also here is the thing with me…I know the rules and I generally don’t jump in unless I know the rule. I cited the @CloseCallSports video of an identical play with the Yankees that explained why this is a fair ball.
While my expertise is in scoring, part of that is knowing the rules in and out. In my other life and real job (in sports) part of what makes me good there and I have the rule books for many sports very well memorized.
Both umpires saw that a part of the ball was over the line, and they were adamant on it.
@gjoeyjoe@dead_baseball (I'm guessing) just because the ball physically settled for about a second but wasn't officially called foul by an umpire made the ball still live so a live ball being touched by a player "on or over" fair territory made the ball fair
@HoodlumCallum@cecililytweets It's because of the nature bonus, the stat thats boosted gets an additional 10% so for example if the stat is 99 b4 the nature it's 108 (+9) after but if you go to 100 then the nature takes it to 110 (+10). 2 stat points gained for 1 investment
@RexProfessor@thhirow Yes that one will not work for Beldum there's maybe a different set of warps that works for Beldum but people currently are conflicted if any of them actually work or not
@earthtojj @law0356 @thhirow The controller i currently have allows me to turbo one single button. I did order a new controller that you can plug into your computer and program macros that got delivered earlier so I'll probably try that out tonight
