everydayapp started off as an experiment and along the way it ended up being a product that more than 900 people used with real money being staked daily

unfortunately, i've had to make the tough decision to wind down the company today

even though we were seeing users coming in daily and using the product, the path to monetisation remained unclear. the amounts people were staking behind their habits were often nominal, which worked well for accountability but made it difficult to build a sustainable business around a volume-first model. despite this, i still believe we’re about to see a huge spurt in consumer crypto apps over the next 18 months and habit tracking will be a big space there

i’m grateful that i got to lead a great team of devs (@prathadox @0xKshitij1525 @_predatorx7) who helped shape the vision for EverydayApp and turn it into something real, and i’m sure all of them will go on to build much bigger things in the future

a special shotout to the Starknet/Starkware team (@EliBenSasson @gyanlakshmi @akashneelesh @adiiHQ) for showing faith in the idea from early on and supporting us throughout the journey.

the @Starknet ecosystem remains one of the best places to build, particularly for teams exploring privacy and new onchain experiences. having been in the industry almost 5 years now, i haven't come across an ecosystem more responsive / supportive of their projects as them
