The Govt and RBI are currently clashing over how to control inflation.
The Government believes that the current inflation is being caused by global factors like Russia Ukraine. According to them, the priority, henceforth, should be job creation.
Asiatic Cheetahs became extinct in India in 1952 from hunting and loss of habitat & currently less than 50 individuals are alive in Iran.
Now, 8 African cheetahs have been brought from Namibia to India in a special cargo flight and released by the PM today in Kuno National Park.
Another 12 cheetahs are expected to arrive in India next month.
Kuno Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1981 to implement the Asiatic Lion Reintroduction Project, which aimed at increasing the lion population in India.
