A group of white men attacked a black dock worker after he asked them to move their boat. In response, a group of black men intervened to defend the worker.
i’ve been all over europe in the middle of summer. the ONLY country that was hotter than the american south was Malta. and guess what the fuck they have there???
"Even when Americans visit, they say the heat is worse."
Because you have no AC, no fans, no widespread cooling efforts. Not because your 83 degrees is super special turbo 83 degrees.
the time to complain about climate change was like 10 yrs ago now it’s time to do something about it and get a fan so u don’t die of heatstroke. it’s been several years of yall waiting until summer and then complaining that it’s hot just like it was last year
while im in a discourse mood … why are Americans just ignoring the existence of global warming to poke fun at brits??? Like yes we don’t have infrastructure or air con units in homes because they were not consisted necessary until recent years because …temperatures are rising
my love triangle fatigue did not come from twilight. the hunger games. the summer i turned pretty. but a way more sour, way more sinister sickly elongated torture abuse that i wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.
Men really be telling on themselves for free 😭
We’re literally giving away FREE flowers at my job. Like… no catch. No purchase. Just “hey, take these home to your wife or girlfriend.”
And almost every man who walked in was like: “Nah, she’s good.”
SHE’S GOOD?? 😭 Sir it costs you absolutely nothing to bring home a tiny gesture and make someone smile for 5 minutes.
The flowers were FREE. The romance was FREE. The brownie points were FREE.
At this point I fully support my own decision to stay single because what do you mean the bar is underground and men still bringing shovels.
Vegas hotels are doing all inclusive now cause tourism is so low… basically you get two nights and it includes 6 meals with 6 drinks and tickets to a show….
in the uk i constantly heard “we don’t have racism here” but it’s just a different form. it’s very subtle like an unspoken rule that all the white people are above everyone else & they expect to be treated that way. they would be so shocked when i asserted myself + took up space
Every time I meet another Black British person who moved to the US, we always end up having the same realization:
We didn’t fully see how much we were being conditioned to stay small and know our place, until we left.
