Of course, I didn't speak up because I wanted status or fame. This was in 2022 where you'd surely be ostracized and subject yourself to hate for saying "men aren't women". I spoke up because what we experienced was wrong.

The platform I have now is a byproduct of that because turns out most people feel the same way I did but were too scared to say it. Largely because of people like you. I'm not scared of you though. Your personal attacks don't stick to me or rational thinking people. The best you have is "fifth place" as if being the fifth fastest woman in the whole country isn't an incredible achievement that you work your whole life for lol. Brittneyrose Torres was a surrogate carrying triplets, 2 boys and 1 girl.

The buyers told her to abort the girl.

Brittneyrose was to receive at least $25- 30k for carrying one baby and $5,000 extra for carrying two or more in her contract with the parents.

The biological parents claimed the contract included a provision which allowed them to tell Brittneyrose to abort, and they withheld payments unless she ended their daughter’s life.

The parents had been excited about the triplets in the beginning, then around 12 weeks they changed their minds.

Brittneyrose said she offered to adopt the baby girl, but the parents refused.

Price tags. Contracts. Payments.

Surrogacy reduces human beings to products and commodities, to be discarded at the convenience of the buyer.

Today you will read many sympathetic media stories about B.P.J., the male athlete who challenged WV’s law and lost at SCOTUS.

I’m guessing none will mention that B.P.J. defeated 470+ girls 1,400+ times (including a state title) and sexually harassed our client Adaleia (pictured) in the girls’ locker room. Sadly, Adaleia stopped playing the school sports she loved due to B.P.J.’s ongoing presence in girls’ sports and spaces.

But we’ll probably be lucky if those girls get even a passing mention—let alone a front-page photo.

This has been the pattern on this issue from far too many institutions of power. Boys’ feelings are the focus. Girls’ safety, fairness, and opportunity take a back seat.


I’m so thankful today that the Supreme Court reversed that pattern, acknowledged the reality of biological sex, and remembered the girls.
