@formularacers_ All signs point to at least Williams & Audi. Wheatley and Vowles have both done a stellar job to turn around the culture and operations respectively. Wind tunnel performance will come in time but tightening up operations of 2 of F1s former hopeless teams has been a great sign.
@the_zb_ 2018: Lewis made the difference, without him Vettel wins.
2007: Kimi only won cos Lewis' China gravel incident
In 2010, Vettel only won because Webber & Alonso had terrible finales.
But in 2013, Vettel made the difference. Few drivers could've come from last to win the WDC.
@the_zb_ Fer/Merc uptick in form would not have as much impact as you think cos 1.If the battle is closer the development goes on for longer 2.form is real, you cannot ignore the psychological impact fumbling the WDC had, his performance imo was suboptimal
@devilman666@SCWhisperer His misread in R1 is bad but I couldn't believe the tigers stat so I rewatched the highlights...which 3 tries?
Heres the only tries on his side & they're not shocking mistakes, especially the toa one.
Feels like you started the season unconvinced & are finding excuses to hate
@notracingpoint Why is albon not S tier? He's leading the midfield, double the points of the next midfield driver (hadjar), and he's 6 points off Kimi. Absolutely destroying Carlos in qualifying, only 2 races without Q3. From an f1.5 perspective he's having a more dominant season than piastri
@Tanswell87 What does that actually mean tho? The only teams that DESERVE him are the ones who consistently show up and can make use of his constant 8+/10 performances every week, but then you'd be crying about salary cap how the best front rower in the game left to join the best team
@palejawsh Honestly if the ball carrying arm touching the ground is enough to ground a player and complete the tackle, it should be the same for scoring a try. I get it's not the exact same but if it's enough to kill the play, what difference does it make
@Jaiggg_@Deeaann0 Reckon its a technique issue more than effort. Go back to his cowboys days and you'll see the same carries. He's always hit the line and dropped his body weight to avoid getting pushed back because he's just too light, if hes even a little upright he gets carried back 10m.
@Tempershot_797@Jaiggg_ To make matters worse Fermor who starts left edge over fifita at club was on the bench for 60+ minutes while we got stomped by the blues forward pack. Nothing makes sense
@Tempershot_797@Jaiggg_ You say he's too small but iirc every game he's started with Patty for Qld he's played prop and Patty's played lock, which makes no sense because Patty beefed up to play prop this season and cotters normal position is 13.
@yippienomnom@MRFonX@F1GuyDan Stop please. Just because RBR build a car with such a narrow window that only max can extract performance, doesn't make it a boat.
You've just heard people praise Alonso for dragging that awful Ferrari in the wdc and romanticise max the same way but the RBR is a very fast car
@yippienomnom@MRFonX@F1GuyDan Its the second fastest car what do you mean "boat". On average it's faster than Ferrari and Mercedes you guys have to be trolling
