An American Jewish woman living in Barcelona reached out to me, saying that she and her wife were denied entry last night to a thermal bath, reportedly because they are Jewish.

She documented the exchange on video and filed a report with the Mossos d’Esquadra afterwards.

What's even more heartbreaking is how bystanders chose to stay silent during the exchange. Their lack of action only enabled what seemed to be a moment void of humanity.

Shame on all of them.

People believe that because 700,000 Palestinians were displaced in an Arab war 80 years ago that today they're entitled to wage massacres, bomb busses, hijack planes, and recruit activists for a global intifada.

To me and millions of Iranian women, this does not look like a choice. It is no longer "My body, my choice," but rather "My body for votes."

They who claim to fight for women's self-determination in the name of feminism voluntarily embrace an ideology that mandates our women cover their hair simply because they are women. The Chargé d’Affaires of the Spanish Embassy in Israel was summoned today for a clarification meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following severe acts of violence by the Spanish authorities against the flotilla provocateurs

At the instruction of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, the Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yossi Amrani, summoned today, 24 May 2026, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Spanish Embassy in Israel, Francisca Pedrós, for a clarification meeting following the publication of videos and images showing severe acts of violence by the Spanish authorities against the flotilla provocateurs.

The Political Director pointed to the hypocrisy of the Spanish government, which sends its provocateurs to Israel and then condemns Israel for its lawful actions to enforce a legal naval blockade - while at the same time Spanish authorities employed severe violence against those same flotilla participants. The Political Director demanded an explanation as to why, nearly 24 hours after the serious acts of violence committed by the Spanish authorities, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez or any of his ministers have still not seen fit to condemn the Spanish authorities’ violence, while they are always quick to condemn Israel on any pretext whatsoever.

The Political Director clarified that the Spanish authorities had to deal only with provocations carried out by some of the flotilla participants against Israel - whereas Israel faced far more serious provocations by many hundreds of flotilla participants during each of the last six flotillas - and yet the Spanish authorities resorted to severe violence that was not employed by Israel.

The Political Director demanded explanations from the Chargé d’Affaires as to why the Spanish government has thus far taken no action regarding flotilla activist and Spanish citizen Saif Abu Kashk, who has ties to Hamas and on whom U.S. sanctions were also imposed last week.

Show patético y de pocos pesos de quienes no han tenido en su vida otro mérito que el de protestar, excepto -claro está- contra esos regímenes que sí torturan y que sí matan a quienes son y piensan diferente, aquí, cerca de sus narices, en la misma América Latina, pero a cuyos jerarcas rinden abyecta pleitesía.

¿No es show? ¿Es «preocupación por las mujeres y los niños»?

Entonces vayan a Managua a desafiar a Ortega y pídanle que deje de torturar niños y mujeres en las mazmorras de «La Modelo» o de asesinar a sus opositores en los cuarteles de Masaya, León o Estelí, vayan con su flotilla a llevar caramelos (porque eso llevaban...) a los niños de Cuba u ofrézcanse de voluntarios para ir a Nigeria o a la República Democrática del Congo, donde falta gente, mucha gente. A ver si vuelven calentitos, abrigaditos y en avión... si es que vuelven.

The world is about to get a master class in antisemitism.

Israel's minister Ben Gvir's behavior towards the flotilla activists was unacceptable. I said so myself.

World leaders all posted angry denunciations of the Israeli government and summoned Israeli ambassadors for a dressing down.

Here, the same activists are receiving much more brutal treatment at the hands of the Spanish government. What we won't see however is an international outcry against the Spanish government.

This imbalance isn't due to the vagaries of international diplomacy. People hold the Jewish state to a higher standard than they do any other state, and fundamentally it's due of bigotry and hatred.
