This guy is single handedly representing Ghana in a sport we don’t even hear about and I’ve seen nary a news outlet give him 2 minutes of coverage. He’s self-sponsored & gives his all but we don’t even appreciate him. I’m gonna start following his every activity. Congrats Trey.
22yrs in Parliament, the kids in your constituency still school under trees, your constituents don't have clean drinking water, but it's Arabic language that's your priority, shame!
Over 45% of vehicles on the road in the US are over 12 years old, and over 55% of vehicles on European roads are over 13 years old. Both of these regions have clean air, credit score systems, and good salaries. Yet Ghana a country with one of the worst and dustiest road networks, poor salaries, delayed payments that force people to demonstrate, extremely high import duties, and no local automobile manufacturing says we shouldn't drive cars over 10 years old because of emissions. Meanwhile, we have the DVLA, which is supposed to ensure cars pass an emissions test before issuing a roadworthiness certificate. These leaders think that any vehicle over 10 years old, even if properly maintained, will automatically turn the whole sky to smoke. PhD and Honourable titles mean nothing, honestly!
@cdrafrica Why are cars manufactured in our own country still so expensive? We are our own biggest obstacle ooo. Sometimes the problem is not always from outside; we need to fix the systems we control ourselves.
So glad a lot more people are seeing and calling out these toxic narratives that have existed with us for years as “jokes”.
They’re not.
We’re not there yet, but we’re gradually getting there.
GHANA HAS A PEDOPHILIA PROBLEM
GHANA HAS A PEDOPHILIA PROBLEM
GHANA HAS A PEDOPHILIA PROBLEM
GHANA HAS A PEDOPHILIA PROBLEM
And we need to start having open conversations about this otherwise it’s going to get worse and we will keep failing our children.
This is how pedophilia culture festers in our society. An MP telling a primary school girl he’ll marry her in the future isn’t harmless, it’s how we normalize adults making romantic comments to children. Children deserve boundaries, not marriage jokes. This is disgraceful
