due to pregnancy-related death. a majority of these deaths, approximately 8/10, are preventable. if the legislation is so focused and determined to save a clump of cells, there should be some legislation to save the women who have more risk of complications due to your negligence

considering the high maternal mortality rates in texas, especially for WOC, i hope the bill addresses the racial disparity in the healthcare system. there’s no explanation, other than racial biases, that justify WOC, specifically Black women, to be twice as likely to die (1/2)
