I am deeply alarmed by the detention of Sama Safi in an Israeli prison. Sama, a 20-year-old Palestinian American student, was taken from her home in the middle of the night and continues to be held without charges. This is part of a disturbing pattern of the Israeli government denying Palestinians their basic due process rights, often at risk to their health and safety. The United States has a responsibility to protect its citizens abroad, and we must hold our allies to basic standards of equal justice under the law. I am urging Secretary Rubio and the Trump Administration to use every diplomatic tool available to bring Sama home safely.
Restricted free agent Mohamed Diawara intends to sign a multiyear, $10-plus million deal to return to the New York Knicks, sources tell ESPN. Diawara -- the No. 51 pick in last year's NBA draft -- was part of the champion Knicks after spending the season on a standard contract.
Hasan Piker: “There’s always a healthy flow of migrant workers that will come to the US that will work for pennies on the fucking dollar to make ends meat to work in slave-like conditions because they’re desperate. Why are they desperate? Because we’ve destroyed their countries. We’ve manipulated their finances, destroyed their economy, extracted their natural resources. We’ve kept them down and underdeveloped by design to create this chaos and then they’re desperate enough to come here and we don’t allow them to get the proper paperwork so our capital owners can justify paying them nothing”
This Father’s Day, remember Jacob Flickinger, an American father killed by an IDF strike while cooking meals for starving families in Gaza.
He never made it home to his son. Justice for Jacob.
