I’m a designer, I’m a programmer, and I’m an autodidact.
I like tech that lifts others, not preys on them.
I like ambitious vision that’s focused on making the future brighter than the present.
Finally, I enjoy thinking and sharpening the greatest asset I have - my mind.
@stephenhaney Super cool, Paper literally gets more interesting week by week. Major props to you and the team @stephenhaney for the consistent progress 🙌🏾
@joshdesignsxyz@vanschneider Our tech suit ban is the realities of token costs, the crippling cognitive debt that accrues when codebases balloon on autopilot, & the collective realization - made apparent by the CEO of take 2 - that ai still isn’t capable of building new realities. Many opportunities ahead 👌🏾
This vocabulary is a side-effect of domain expertise. Having domain expertise makes you way better at getting what you actually want from AI relative to other people.
So learn how to code, learn design, all the fundamentals. It’s incredibly revelant, and it will stay relevant.
Has been a while since I wrote about agentic engineering, so this time around some learnings of maintaining Pi as a junior maintainer to @badlogicgames :) https://t.co/TbD9Jvqk3t
I used AI to double check my annual closing statements of my company - fed it bank statements, accounting statements etc, parallel to my accountant going thru it as well.
It found some good stuff, but also hallucinated a bunch of other, nonexistent problems. I feel more and more LLMs are excellent tools... in the hands of professionals who can easily confirm hallucination vs real stuff.
@badlogicgames The amount of knowledge I bookmarked has been intense. Keep the heat coming especially as a new SWE (working in typescript 🙌🏾) that’s trying to use agentic engineering without outsourcing my cognition! Thanks @badlogicgames
