@DrSharmila15 We are now also questioning the steps taken to avoid those surprise visits and reels. Just a few days ago, our push was to stop ministers and MLAs from disturbing students in schools.
Aren’t these two different situations? Earlier, the complaint was about denying or restricting political meetings . Here the question is whether the police should have intervened after crowd conditions became unsafe. If the police had the authority to stop the event to save lives, shouldn’t they have exercised it?
I’m all for asking a Chief Minister to set the right example.
However, was the same concern shown when ministers and senior leaders used personal insults, abusive language, and derogatory remarks against opponents for years?
Consistency is what gives criticism credibility. One thing not to forget is that he is speaking in the style and tone that this generation can relate to and connect with. This style of delivery made him to win and is the one he follows.
Ultimately, what matters most is that it’s simple to understand, and everyone is listening, which is usually not the case when politicians speak.
@SavukkuOfficial@AIADMKOfficial Some people are talking about how savukku don’t have shame or being chameleon. But what on earth would we call AdMk and DMK alliance attempt? Political ethics? Or dirty politics?
A signed MoU is just the beginning. Land acquisition, clearances, infrastructure, utilities, policy stability and execution speed ultimately decide whether the investment materialises.
Healthy competition between states should push us to improve, not panic. Investors aren't doing anyone a favour. They'll simply choose the place that makes the most business sense and ROI.
Tamil Nadu has earned its industrial reputation over decades because it consistently executes better than most states. The focus should be on protecting that advantage, not worrying about every meeting another state holds.
@amarprasadreddy@TVKVijayHQ I’m curious, if Vijay is eradicating corruption and fixing law and order issues, why would there be a need for competition or another power or change? Why not let him continue doing what he is doing?
@itisprashanth I am sure some people criticise him for giving government jobs and many social media policy makers have condemned the unfairness of doing so. Ultimately, however, these emotions reveal how much they have lost in their family and how important this job is to them.
Let’s keep our personal opinions about how school kids should behave. Let’s not generalise. And I am not saying that’s not happening. Please go through both government and private schools of not just TN but everywhere else and learn how a dance event is organised, what songs they play. I know it being a student once and being a father now.
Do you know what was the occasion, why they played that song and dancing? What if they are just practising for a school dance event? Or what if it’s just an icebreaker session? Haven’t we played a song a danced when we were studying? Or your point is to converge that this is happening only now in TVK rule?
A few seconds of children dancing without knowing the occasion or context is not enough to declare that our school infrastructure has been underutilised or used for wrong purposes. Why don’t we ask ourselves some basic questions about something that got posted by someone? Why do we always have to find flaws in whatever is posted? Sometimes children are simply being children. I saw talent and cuteness in the original post, but some of us seem to flip the story and paint a political narrative on it. Let’s breathe some fresh air and take a deep breath once in a while.
Thanks @Absolutlycinema for this original post to spread love and happiness.
@sansbarrier And looks like we don’t seem to see the kids as kids anymore.. everything is seen from a political angle it seems. When i saw the original post, I saw talent and cuteness but some people choose to only see flaws in it. Let’s breathe some fresh air once in a while.

A CM saying out loud not to give any bribe is the talk of the town. Words that were never uttered by none of the previous CMs to my knowledge. Good intent and living by the value are starting point of real change.

Chief Minister Joseph Vijay is fast becoming a political monster - “Vijay Aatchi” is here to stay!
Everyone, including myself, ridiculed Joseph Vijay before he assumed office, saying,
Vijay can never speak,
Vijay can never pick up politics,
Vijay can never govern,
Vijay can never lead,
Vijay can never learn administration,
Never,
Never,
Never,
The never-ending "never"!
But do we even realize that he is grasping politics in a jiffy?
He has made some of the best decisions, introduced many positive policy changes, curbed corruption to some extent, and has now become a powerful orator.
His oratory style may be cinematic and filmi, but it is relatable to the common man and resonates with his voter base. Every political leader's primary objective is to keep his or her voter base happy. That is precisely what CM Vijay is doing, and I believe it is perfectly justifiable.
What impressed me the most is that he still sees DMK as his principal political enemy and remains unwavering and relentless in taking the DMK ecosystem head on.
Only a leader who identifies his/her principal political opponent can succeed in electoral politics. CM Vijay is doing that in a remarkably adept manner.
If the villain is powerful, the hero appears even more powerful. CM Vijay vs DMK is going to be an interesting, intriguing and riveting political battle.
Chief Minister Joseph Vijay is becoming a political monster, and Vijay Aatchi is here to stay!

If this theory is true, why did they listen to the police for the Perambalur location and go in peace? Did the police say the hesitation was because it would turn out as an advantage to TVK? If so, did the police work for a separate party? All speculations. Let’s be patient for CBI to investigate and find the real truth.
Which specific words are we referring here? Language and style that connected him with this generation of people? Language that sounded simple for everyone to understand and pay attention? What benefit of a speech is when people don’t pay attention to or listen to? We seem to have a stereotype of a politician which isn’t working out anymore with people. We have seen many politicians speak but rarely listened to them!
Out of many stills captured during Vijay’s speech in Karur, @sunnewstamil chose this picture from the day of the incident in its thumbnail to paint a different image of CM Vijay and confuse the readers. Perhaps this is one reason why we stopped watching or relying on Sunnews or Kalaingar News. There used to be times they were neutral but for very brief period of time.
@SriramMadras Yes. This shouldn’t stop with a speech. Give every government office a QR code to report bribery instantly. Publish monthly action taken reports. When officials knew that every citizen can report them in seconds, behaviour will change.
@tamiltalkies So you like being in a state where bribing is considered normal and stereotype of a politician. Just forgot about how he delivered that line, but did any of the past CMs had the audacity to say it loud to the people? If intent is good, everything else false in place.
