Cyclists don't "ignore" the rules of the road when they pull up to a stop sign — the rules of the road rarely consider cyclists.

In places that do, cyclists are expected to treat stop signs as yield signs. There's even a name for it: The Idaho Stop.

Toronto is one of the worst cities I've ever biked in. It is actively dangerous — despite the fact that, to bike there, you need to be *so* careful.

Toronto Police harassing cyclists, while constantly neglecting motorist enforcement, has to be read as a political statement.
