The Prophet (ﷺ) informed us that a person dies upon what he lived upon, and that whoever dies upon something will be resurrected upon it. [Sahih Muslim 2878]
Whoever disobeys Allāh through a particular act may be punished by that very act.
WHOEVER DISOBEYS ALLAH THROUGH SOMETHING MAY BE PUNISHED BY THAT SAME THING
Shaykh ’Abdullāh
Al-Qusayr rahimahullah said:
By Allāh, I witnessed a man in the final moments of his life who was listening to music and singing along with his car stereo.
I saw it with my own eyes: his neck struck the side of the car, at the glass between the door and the front windshield, and it was cut, yet he continued singing while in the throes of death, still conscious and looking on.
Even as he was in the agony of death, he continued to sing instead of saying Lā ilāha illā Allāh.
He had disobeyed Allāh by listening to songs.
After he was involved in a car accident, he kept singing although his neck had been severed.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I MAKE A MISTAKE WHILE RECITING AN ĀYAH DURING SOLITARY PRAYER AND CANNOT COMPLETE IT?
Sheikh Ibn ’Uthaymeen (may Allāh have mercy on him) answered:
"You have two options:
(1) either move on to the next Āyah, or
When the Prophet ﷺ taught ‘Abdullāh ibn Mas‘ūd the Tashahhud, he said: ‘Then let one of you choose whatever supplication he wishes.’ Therefore, supplication—whether brief or extensive—should be made after the final Tashahhud, before concluding the prayer with Salām.
PROLONGING THE FINAL PROSTRATION IS NOT FROM THE SUNNAH
Sheikh Muhammad ibn Salih Al-Uthaymeen (may Allāh have mercy on him) said:
Prolonging the final prostration is not from the Sunnah, as the Sunnah is to maintain consistency in the duration of the various acts of prayer
and sitting between the two prostrations were nearly equal in length.’ This is what is preferable.
However, there is another place designated for supplication besides prostration, which is during the Tashahhud.
such as bowing, rising from it, prostration, and sitting between the two prostrations. This is supported by the statement of Al-Barā' ibn ‘Āzib (may Allāh be pleased with him), who said: ‘I observed the prayer with the Prophet ﷺ and found that his standing, bowing, prostration,
Learn to rejoice and celebrate the victories of others. It will open doors of goodness in your own life in return. Be gracious enough to do that even for your enemy. Such positive actions will lift you especially during your worst days.
So Abu Hurayrah said, “Woe to you! That is the inheritance of Muhammad, sal-lal-lahu-alaihi-wa-sallam.”

BENEFIT 327: Reaching Out to Those Engaged in Worldly Pursuits in Their own Spaces to Invite Them Toward Righteousness
Abu Hurayrah (radiallaahu ‘anhu) once passed by the market in Madinah. He stopped at the market and said:
“O people of the market, how incapable you are!”
but we didn’t see anything being distributed.”
Abu Hurayrah asked them, “And you didn’t see anyone in the Masjid?”
They replied, “Indeed we did; we saw people praying, others reciting Qur`an and others studying the regulations of halal and haram.”
“Where is it?” they asked.
He replied, “In the Masjid.”
So they hurried to the Masjid, and Abu Hurayrah waited for them until they returned.
When they came back, he said, “What’s the matter?”
They replied, “Abu Hurayrah! We went to the Masjid,
They said, “And how is that Abu Hurayrah?”
He replied, “Over there, the inheritance of Allah’s Messenger (sal-lal-lahu-alaihi-wa-sallam) is being distributed and you are here! Won’t you go and take your share?”
