Codex you had 1 job! Give me an OSLog with pointsOfInterest.. So smart and then fails at something so basic.. Actually seems to reflect the human brain 😄
Have been “vibe” coding an app, feature by feature etc and my god… the slop is real.
Even working in small increments, if one is not paying attention the slop just starts accumulating.
@levelsio@steipete And there’s reasons why it’s illegal. But keep on pushing that slippery slope of an agenda. Not that it’ll ever affect you directly.
Feature creep is really becoming an issue with AI, particularly when launching a new product. Discipline and breaking down the product to its essential to keep things prioritized has taken a whole new meaning.
I have a hard time understanding how people can eat so much fast food daily to the point of getting fat. If I eat mcd at lunch, I feel full without apetite at least until the night.. really weird
Even AI won’t save us and improve watch apps development.. you can produce how much code you want, @Apple will still bottleneck you with bad Xcode tools and failures to launch
Not sure what knobs @OpenAI adjusted with codex 5.3 but it’s definitely “understanding” me less than before and being more literal in the request interpretation
