@louorns If Swansea fans’ had watched him last night v Burton… 81% pass accuracy and 23 times lost possession. He was spraying the ball out at will, and not in a positive way
@readrovers @MFRFC55 Bindon is definitely not a future signing, he’s Championship ready and for a top half team at that. Current theory would be that he feels he can find a better opportunity in the summer where he’d be available for a small compensation fee.
@louorns@jkanalysis7 ^ agree with this, since Selles left it’s become more evident that he needs to be further up the pitch. Teams have found out how to stop him in the 6 too. He’s also so unique in L1 as he’s given the freedom to do whatever he likes on the ball and orchestrate our whole game.
Following on from this, Holzman has had a few opportunities to get the ball into Wing quickly whilst the forwards are out of position but has missed the chance. Whilst Bindon has clearly realised the problem and is looking for the quick first time ball into Wing. #readingfc
Two weeks in a row now that we’ve been up against a front two that are marking Wing out of the game when we have possession. Two weeks in a row we look clueless on the ball. #readingfc
@_LukeUTD_ Agreed, I would hesitate to say that bar Bindon, Garcia and Wing I can see the rest of the group seeing it out until summer but then again who knows.
Losing Selles would be a disaster and huge blow to the whole club as we know it. But, our hope could possibly be James Oliver-Pearce. He’s a young, highly rated coach that can carry on the style and philosophy and I can see him stepping up. Preferable over Hunt imo. #ReadingFC
@_LukeUTD_ Ofc he definitely could go, but I think Selles’ right hand man is Andrew Sparkes and with JOP being here since Ince (hired by Bowen as a coach) and staying on afterwards I can see him sticking it out here possibly.
Points per game records:
Selles - 1.49
Ince - 1.14
Paunovic - 1.24
Bowen - 1.4
Gomes - 1.11
Selles since Shrewsbury (A) - 1.7
Incredible really, what a man.

Obviously some of these quotes are paraphrased for conciseness.
The main jist I got from him was that he perhaps doesn’t feel he completely fits in and struggles with the style of play but yet still rates and respects Selles massively.

Harlee Dean on the @UndrTheCosh podcast 1/3:
“#ReadingFC is in a far worse situation than Brum were”
“There’s been times where players have been payed late or in separate amounts at different times”
“So many people have been made redundant, there’s no staff in the building”
3/3
“He’d never seen Selles’ style of play during his 17 year career - all about counter press and intense running which suits young players”
“Out of the managers he’s played under, he’d most like to emulate Selles’ style of play when he starts work as a coach”
#ReadingFC
This is so true. Keep those draws and the odd win ticking over away from home and continue our home form and it’s a pretty simple top half finish. #ReadingFC
A very League One game today. Win your home games and draw away and you'll be up there. Could have nicked it late on too #readingfc https://t.co/lhApjJfjUV
I would rather a striker up top but:
- The front 6 has enough creativity to create enough chances to score against *Stevenage*
- Elliott and Savage being able to play is a benefit, especially for Wing
- Wareham was poor against Fleetwood
- Knibbs leads the press well
