@sunnydaevt For streaming purposes elgato’s wave xlr is a great option, no pre amp needed, software is super simple to use, the xlr physically only has gain/volume/mix adjustment plus a tap to mute thats suuper obvious when youre muted or not plus you can combo with a stream deck for toggles

@DayumDahlia Should say its probably a more streamer-centric set up but the elgato software has some neat plugins and is easy to use. Been considering upgrading my mic (no idea what to get other than an sm7b🗿) but i think the wave xlr is endgame for me

@DayumDahlia The elgato wave DX and wave XLR are great if you dont mind using the software for nearly everything besides volume/gain and muting. Been using mine for a bit over a year without a single issue and it sounds great for the price (about 300 usd tax included)
