If you guys wish to fact check this: yes- Scott Swift signed Taylor Swift to her former record company and was a partial owner and board member. He received 15 million dollars in the sale that Taylor Swift claimed to her fans she had no idea about.

Scott Swift was one of like 5 owners. Literally impossible that she had “no idea” the sale was happening.

Scooter Braun legally purchased something he wanted and the owners (Swift’s dad being one of them) agreed to sell it.

Positively monstrous to lie to crazed teenager fans bc you are upset about it, while failing to inform them of this very important fact.

This is why I don’t like her. She manipulates teenagers.

I have no issue with young girls liking Taylor Swift. Her music is catchy and it’s harmless. We have way bigger cultural issues to fry.
That said, what Taylor did to Scooter Braun was an act of sheer evil. He legally purchased her catalogue of music. Her father was on the board of and a partial owner of the company at the time and was therefore obviously aware of the sale.
But her young fans don’t have their brains developed or understand how business works.
She simply didn’t like Scooter— lied to her fans and said she had no idea and would have purchased it herself (your dad didn’t tell you?) and Scooter Braun’s family received death threats for years. His young children’s lives were put at risk over a lie. Taylor routinely uses her pre-pubescent fan base as an army to attack men that she doesn’t like or to simply get what she wants in business.
Scooter Braun is one of many male victims of this.
Just calling it like I see it. 🤷‍♀️

Now, Michael Shellenberger reports that this was a sham: The CIA asked foreign governments to spy on Trump associates for them ahead of 2016, then used that spying to justify their own espionage.
