When you undercharge, you train clients to think: design is easy, cheap & a commodity. They tell a friend. Friends tell other friends, creating downward pressure for other pros to do the same. You work harder to make less so you make up for it in volume. This is if it works.

In 2023 you can do one of two things:
โ You can keep entertaining the same pool of clients who donโt care about you, and post memes about it all year complaining..
Or
โ Set your expectations higher, challenge yourself to meet them, then ask for the rewards of your labour
As a creator I follow and look up to a bunch of people in my industry. Today I was in a room with a lot of them, not as a fan but as a friend :)

State your intentions (price) off rip. No ones here to waste time , if you donโt work for under $2000, just say that and if itโs a โ , THEN move on to hoping on a call or meeting.
