My first post about covid.
I remember well when the covid panic started in Portugal. March of 2020. I was driving to Lisbon when my mother phoned me in panick to advise me not to go because the news were recommending staying home.
By then twitter had been in covid discussions since long and I was already in the stage of " it's just a virus, and it will mostly affect the fragile", having gone through the first stage of "what is this thing?" months before the word covid had entered the news cycle.

It's so easy to make people blind to the stupid and ridiculous, if you speak from authority.
Like the covid rule where you had to wear a mask to get in a restaurant, but once seated, you could take it off.
No matter what I would say to people around me, they did not see stupid.

Any great creation is an elegant and efficient solution for reaching a destination along a path filled with constraints.
