@LVRaider_81 The bigger problem is the lack of talent.
But Rob needs some work on game sense and when to call certain things. Not every third and long requires pressure or dropping DTs (although I think he does it cause the DTs have no pass rush)
@ManVo0d0o@GraphkRaider You gotta have something worth selling and that's why I only mentioned Miller. That's all I can think is worth selling. Outside shot Maxx gets traded but the Raiders just don't have valued trade pieces.
@GlenRockney Is it weird that I think the scheme itself is actually pretty decent?
There's 2 things that are needed 1 is more players (can't really fix that this year) and 2 is better game feel/calls from Rob (which he should improve)
A defense with Crosby and buddies on the DL, and a young DB room, and unproven DC I expect to struggle in the RedZone.
An offense w/ a play calling HC, highest paid C, 2 top 5 TEs, and Jeanty should not be bad in the end zone.
Defense doesn't have the bodies to line up and play (2x DT, LB, DB)
Offense is limited by the QB and some holes ( 2x G, WR)
3-4 sucks when all 4 of the loses should have been winnable. #Raiders
Next a Jets team that plays hard but has issues too.
Kirk's limitations make the Raiders offense relatively predictable.
Stack the box, cover MOF. Anything else, even if you get beat won't be targeted.
The defense? Weak DTs. Young secondary. Give them looks they don't usually see (aka 13 personnel) and do whatever you want.
