@hnbguofficial is advancing India’s knowledge traditions through yoga. Under its Department of Naturopathy & Yoga, the Rishikesh Extension Centre has been conducting monthly yoga training programmes and workshops for five years, giving students practical learning while taking yoga global.

So far, the Centre has completed 44 one-month training batches, training 315 students from 68 countries. Today, under the leadership of VC Prof. Shriprakash Singh, and with the support of Dr. Vinod Nautiyal, Dr. Rajni Nautiyal, Dr. Anuja Rawat (HoD) and faculty, the initiative continues to strengthen yoga as a bridge between India and the world.

टिहरी गढ़वाल (उत्तराखंड) में सफ़र करते हुए एक महिला सेल्फ हेल्प ग्रुप से मुलाक़ात हुई। पहाड़ी नमक, बुरांस का जूस, अड़सा जैसे उत्पाद जो पहले सिर्फ़ पहाड़ी घरों तक सीमित थे, आज वो इन महिलाओं के ज़रिए देश के दूसरे हिस्से में पहुँच रहे हैं। हालाँकि अभी टूरिस्ट सीजन नहीं था लेकिन फिर भी बाहर से आये यात्रियों में इन उत्पादों के लिए उत्सुकता दिखी।
