"Where?!? Where have they improved?" 🤨
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink laughs off suggestions that Manchester United have improved during Ruben Amorim's tenure at Old Trafford and that they have a 'lot of work to do'.
What We Learned:
- Amad brilliant, so sharp, deserved a G/A for that performance.
- Lammens strong debut, good saves and claims.
- Mbeumo fantastic, crazy work rate, the RHS was causing them many issues.
- Mount sharp, great movement and goal.
- Sesko scored again, but also class with hold-up and passing.
- Yoro solid as always, De Ligt + Shaw strong.
- Dalot the only worry from today.
- First half much better than second, but job done.
- Just need to improve our 2nd half performances as most games this season we drop off after 30 mins.
- Players and manager deserve credit.
But we need to go on and win back to back games now - if we played like this week in week out I would not have many issues.
Let's hope this is the start of a turn around. Rather than a one off good performance.

You’re suggesting Lammens will have fewer eyes on him? If anything, the pressure will be even greater. Whoever United buy is going to be heavily scrutinised and put under the microscope. I’m hoping Lammens is someone who can deal with it
Emi Martinez is a fine shot stopper, but like the ones we have, disaster is never too far away.
I don’t like the baggage, I don’t like his antics at Old Trafford and I’d prefer a goalkeeper that’ll come in with fewer eyes on them and more to prove.
Lammens is my choice. 🙌
🚨💙 Alejandro Garnacho has arrived in London as Chelsea and Manchester United have signed all documents.
The deal is completed club to club for £40m plus 10% sell-on clause. 🇦🇷
Medical to follow then Garnacho will sign his seven year deal at Chelsea.
🚨🔵 Alejandro Garnacho will be in London on Friday for medical tests and contract signing as new Chelsea player.
£40m fee confirmed with 10% sell-on clause agreed with Manchester United.
Exclusive story since July, confirmed. 🇦🇷
Your entire narrative about Amorims system is just wrong. The system isn’t the problem. It’s the mentality of these players choosing when they turn up to games. This same pattern has happened with every single manager post Fergie, regardless of the system.
🚨🔵 Chelsea and Man United, locked in talks for Alejandro Garnacho’s transfer.
#CFC confirmed their proposal worth £35/40m as total package, waiting for Man United’s green light.
The deal will happen, just matter of time… as Garnacho only wants Chelsea.
Here we go, soon 🔜
@JRDFRWN17@RossHarwood_ I think it’s likely those 3 will go, Sancho is the one who doesn’t look to be going anywhere as he won’t agree to move to any clubs that have come forward. I’ve given up on Baleba in all honesty, but if it happens then I’ll be pleasantly surprised!
