End of an era 🥺

Even though it’s the last update I’m gonna do my best to enjoy it to the fullest.

I owe so much to Bungie and this franchise, I met so many great people, so many friends. I really love this game.

See you in the stars guardians 🫡

For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.

As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.

Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.

We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.

From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

You did not go gentle into that good night.

[The Stanley Cup @StanleyCup]

Oh what a Knight

[Sneak @SneakyBeaver]

You're my favorite, don't ever forget that.

[Gladd @Gladd]

@DestinyTheGame At his funeral, Mr. John Destiny 2 would prefer that we celebrate all the good times, instead of focusing on his tragic end.

So let’s do that, guardians.

[Aslan @aslanzagrosi]

“Just play FF14” bro I like shooting dregs in the head. I like hand cannons. I like one two punch. I like eager edge. I like triple tap. I like stasis. I like throwing hammers. I like golden gun. I like random rolls. Nightfalls. Raid boss mechanics. Engrams. Demolitionist

[Jesse Granger @JesseGranger_]

I think that goal by Marner might've been the most impressive in Golden Knights history.

I still can't believe what I just watched.

[Wollibee Knight @wollibee]

My dear Utah tweeples, neighbors, & fellow old school Eagles and Grizzlies hockey fans.

Tomorrow is HISTORIC.

The first ever Stanley Cup Playoff game in Salt Lake City, right there near the downtown site where the Golden Eagles started it all in 1969, and in the state where the Grizz and their fans carried it on for two decades. Now 57 years later, an NHL playoff is about to play on our home turf. Savor every minute and enjoy it all.

Even being on the opposite side of the rink, I can't help but be giddy that my hometown has made the hockey Big Leagues. Our state's diehard hockey fans have been waiting for this for so long, and now it's here. For those of you who are new to the show, enjoy this moment, because it took almost 60 years to arrive. You've been gifted an amazing thing.

I love it for Salt Lake and Utah, it's absolutely epic. Enjoy every minute, there's only one first time; this is it.

[IFrostBolt @IFrostBolt]

Incredible Cryo Archive reset day. Went flawless with the squad.

Vault is way too gold. No vault space. Makes me want to sleep and wake up when they buff vaults again 🛌

Marathon is good. Would love to see this game grow.

Jack Eichel - as emotional as I’ve EVER seen him after winning gold with 🇺🇸:

“It just means the world to be here, you know? It’s tough to get it out…I’m so emotional. I’m sorry…I don’t know why…”

This interview, man.🥺🥺🥺

USA HOCKEY IS GOLDEN FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1980 🥇🇸

[Steven Pappas @StevenPappasTV]

I’m not joking when I say, that was the silkiest sequence of hockey I’ve ever seen.

Just straight FILTH.

I’ve been saying this since Prismatic came out. At first I was skeptical but now I feel like it was just lazy and boring

[Separer @Separer]

Hot take but prismatic made Destiny 2 PvE boring. Yes you can do crazy builds but it has trivialized the game to a point that I was sure Destiny 3 was coming out, because why else would you release something so insanely strong.

[Gino Hard @GinoHard_]

Video tribute and a long, LOUD standing ovation from Bruins fans left Brad Marchand crying on the bench 😭👏

[Rowdy @_rowd_]

Finished up Silent Hill f, overall enjoyed it. Ended up not being as scary as a thought but still liked it. Solid 4.1/5.

[Rowdy @_rowd_]

Going to be starting a thread of games I’ve completed and rank them.

[Rowdy @_rowd_]

It’s finally done, I have finally finished the 2015 GOT The Witcher 3 The Wild Hunt. This game was great. I have always loved the Witcher universe (read a few of the books) but never finished this game. Took me just over 100 hours to do everything I wanted. Another 5/5. DLC time.
