Directors were asked to make a list of said cuts early Q4 2022. People had been reassured times at all hands that no layoffs were going to happen and that Reddit is still in growth/mode hiring. #RedditLayoffs

@ritakml They aggressively expanded and are failing to generate expected revenue and need to cut costs/headcount. Big companies often spend $$$$ on initiatives that most often fail to drive expected revenue etc… Tons of projects and wasted efforts that end up being dropped
