So… I don’t have a name for this yet. But this is the first one out the gates of many and the working title is
“Ideas”
The concept is sculptures that change form as you create.
Nakba is the third theme of the Still Here exhibition, reflecting on the mass displacement of Palestinians in 1948, when more than 750,000 people were forced from their homes and hundreds of villages were destroyed.
They left carrying the keys to their homes and holding onto the hope that they would one day return.
The Catastrophe. The Nakba.

Art that has something to say on an issue where silence remains the de facto response.
Made possible by artists willing to express themselves even when they have something to lose.

See you in Lisbon.
Still Here, the inaugural exhibition by return(), is organized around eight themes that trace the story of Palestine and its people from the late nineteenth century to the present day.
The first theme, A Land With A People, remembers a Palestine before the conflict began. It explores how people built lives, raised families, and cultivated a rich culture rooted in the land they called home.
Brazilian artist @AugursNFT created a short film to provide context for each theme, helping connect the artworks to the history and experiences they reflect.
