After many incredible years serving baseball and softball players from all levels and communities, Powerhouse Athletics will officially close its current team operations at the end of June beginning of July as we begin building a new brand and vision alongside our partners, Cody Fowler and Ryan Bixler, to form The Forge Academy.
Powerhouse Athletics has always been about developing players at every stage of the game — from beginners to professionals. We were never built to be talent collectors; we were built to be talent developers. That mission is not changing — it is evolving with a renewed focus and bigger vision for the future.
As the game continues to change, one thing has remained clear to us: our passion has always been training, developing, and helping players maximize their potential. That is where this all started, and that is what we believe we do best.
Over the years, we have been fortunate to work with athletes from all backgrounds and levels of play, and we are incredibly proud of the impact Powerhouse Athletics has had on so many families and players throughout the community. The relationships, memories, and success stories built here will always mean everything to us.
With that being said, we will be moving our training systems west. We will have updates to that as we plan the move and the new home of The Forge Academy.
This is not the end — it is the beginning of an exciting new chapter. I could not be more excited to build the next era of baseball and softball development alongside Cody and Ryan.
Canes Indiana has graciously allowed us temporary space while permits and plans for the new facility are finalized. We are working hard to make this transition as seamless as possible, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and support during this exciting process.
To every player, parent, coach, and family who has been part of the Powerhouse journey: thank you. Your trust and support helped build something special. I truly love you all and it has been more than an honor to serve you and your players.
The name may be changing, but the mission remains the same: developing players the right way.
Updates to follow!
Thank You,
Chad Fowler and Family
