Hull FC are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Head Coach John Kear.
An iconic figure in the British game, Kear led the Black & Whites to their iconic 2005 Challenge Cup Final triumph in Cardiff, and oversaw over 700 games as a coach across the last four decades.
The thoughts and condolences of everyone across the club are with John’s wife Dawn, and all of his family and friends at this difficult time.

Tomorrow➡️
One last dance in a long, funny old season.
We are in the Whiteheads Cup Final as these 2 clubs once again face eachother in a cup final, last year Driff coming out on top in the Senior Cup. Will the boys be out for revenge? Its set to be a cracker👊

@Uzzell01 Like me saying I shouldn't of had that double sausage and egg mcmuffin, bacon and cheese flatbread with 2 hash browns from Maccies yesterday, means nothing now🤣
@jameshullfc@Fieldsy1975@Lewwazere@angus_young61 All a publicity stunt, wasn't long ago he was more interested in Fenerbahce while he let city's finances get into a mess😂the ground would be much better utilised if Hood & Thirkill had some input if not complete control of the SMC theyre experienced successful businessmen!
@jameshullfc@Fieldsy1975@Lewwazere@angus_young61 Has absolutely no interest in the City and local community hes just here to get Hull City in the Premier league so he can fill his pockets, jets in to watch the games then jets back out to Turkey cant get away quick enough 😂

Hulls 2nd Whiteheads Cup final appearance came against the dominant league & cup holders Chalk Lane. Despite a red card the 10 men Citizens battled hard to take Chalk all the way to penalties, and caused the ultimate cup upset to lift the cup a 2nd time🏆
