Fred Rogers met with a child psychologist every week for 22 years to build his show. She shaped everything: every script, prop, and song. The whole point was to give a child's nervous system time to slow down. In 1984, a single regulatory decision ended all of it.

The psychologist was Dr. Margaret McFarland, who co-founded the Arsenal Family and Children's Center alongside Benjamin Spock and Erik Erikson. She and Rogers understood that the prefrontal cortex in children, the part of the brain that controls impulse, emotion, and attention, takes decades to fully develop. At the start of every episode, Rogers tied his sneakers and changed his sweater while children settled in. Those pauses were intentional, designed to help a child's nervous system shift into a calmer, more focused state.

What ended it had nothing to do with child development science. In 1984, Reagan's FCC chairman Mark Fowler abolished the advertising limits that had protected children's programming from commercial pressure. Toy companies moved within months. Between 1984 and 1985, cartoons tied to toy lines increased by 300%, from a handful of shows to more than 40 animated series. In almost every case, the toy was designed first. The cartoon was built to sell it.

Researchers later put numbers to what parents were already noticing. A 2011 study in Pediatrics from the University of Virginia tested 60 four-year-olds across three groups: one watching SpongeBob, which cuts scene every 11 seconds; one watching a slow PBS show, which cuts scene every 34 seconds; and one drawing. Nine minutes later, all three took tests on attention, impulse control, short-term memory, and problem-solving. The SpongeBob group scored significantly worse across every measure.

In the 1970s, children began watching television around age 4. Research from pediatrician Dimitri Christakis found that by 2009, the average age of first screen exposure had dropped to 4 months, as the content got faster and the audience got younger. Researchers separately found that each additional hour of daily screen time at ages 1 or 3 raised the risk of attention problems at age 7 by 9%.

A lot of people still don’t realise that Palestinian Jews existed on that land before European Jews occupied it.
The land was called Palestine.
Passports, currency, stamps, land records, world maps, all said Palestine.

All the Jews fleeing persecution had to do was come “home” to Palestine and love and nurture the land and its people in the way that those already there had done for generations.
But instead, European Jews brought with them both colonialism AND Orientalism.

European Jews (primarily Ashkenazim) discriminated against Arab and SWANA Jews (Mizrahim and Sephardim) through cultural Eurocentrism, systematic economic marginalisation, and institutional neglect during the early decades of Israel’s statehood.

European Jews not only looked down upon Palestinian Jews as "uncivilised", but rather than coexisting in peace and unity with all the “Arabs” - including Jewish Arabs - they created a system of apartheid in which a person’s rights and worth would be determined solely by their Europeanness.

When hundreds of thousands of Mizrahi Jews arrived in Israel in the 1940s and 1950s, the ruling Ashkenazi elite viewed the customs, languages, and lifestyles of Arab Jews as "primitive" and “backward.” This historical phenomenon, often analysed through the lens of Ashkenormativity (the societal privileging of European Jewish customs), resulted in severe social and economic disparities.

The discrimination manifested in several key ways:

Transit Camps and Inferior Housing
• Transit Camps (Ma'abarot): Newly arrived Mizrahi immigrants were disproportionately placed in poorly equipped tent cities and tin-shack transit camps.

• Periphery Displacement: While European immigrants were frequently steered toward central urban hubs, Arab Jews were systematically funnelled into underdeveloped “development towns” along the state's geographic frontiers.

• Property Disparities: European survivors of the Holocaust were often prioritised for permanent concrete housing, creating long-term real estate wealth gaps.

Cultural Suppression and Paternalism
• Language Eradication: The Arabic language and its local Jewish dialects (such as Judeo-Iraqi and Judeo-Moroccan) were openly discouraged in public spaces, as Arabic was labelled the “language of the enemy.”

• Denial of Heritage: European institutional leaders viewed incoming Mizrahi culture as a blank slate that needed to be “civilised” or assimilated into a Westernised framework.

• Slurs: Early Middle Eastern immigrants to Israel and Western countries such as the United States were often disparaged with terms like Arabische Yidden (Yiddish for “Arab Jews”) to imply that they were less authentically Jewish.

Economic and Educational Inequality
• Labour Segregation: Mizrahi immigrants were heavily funnelled into blue-collar, agricultural, and manual labour roles regardless of their professional or academic backgrounds in their countries of origin.

• Educational Tracking: Mizrahi children were disproportionately channelled into vocational or technical schooling rather than academic tracks, limiting upward social mobility for generations.

• Political Exclusion: The early political, judicial, and military institutions of Israel were heavily dominated by an Ashkenazi elite, leaving Arab Jews with minimal institutional representation and decision-making power.

The Yemenite Children Affair
• Disappearances: Between 1948 and 1954, thousands of babies belonging to newly arrived Yemenite and other Mizrahi immigrant families reportedly vanished from hospitals.

• Institutional Cover-ups: Devastated families were abruptly told that their healthy children had died from sudden illnesses, yet they were never shown graves or death certificates.

• Adoption Scandals: Decades of public inquiries and testimonies have linked these disappearances to institutional racism, with allegations that infants were secretly given away or sold to childless Ashkenazi families.

Israel is not a poetic theological return of Jews to their indigenous lands. If that were the case, its founders would have embraced and loved the Indigenous Palestinian Arab Jews who were already living on that land, rather than treating them as “Arabs” - in much the same way that European colonisers throughout history have treated the non-white communities they colonised.

Furthermore, they would not have returned to their claimed indigenous homeland on the basis of a purported religious “chosen people” right of return, only to create a secular haven in which a striking number of Israelis - nearly half by some estimates - identify as agnostic.

Israel is NOT a Jewish project.
It is simply a Western European colonial project that functions through a system of BOTH Jewish supremacy and white supremacy.

The biggest lie sold to the world is that Israel is some kind of religious project. It is not. Theological justifications for its existence are simply the mechanism through which accusations of antisemitism can be wielded as both a weapon and a shield, enabling the most obvious and preventable Holocaust of our time.

Claire Kerrison was arrested at 4:33am from her Brighton home for sending emails concerning 'israel's' genocide in Gaza to her MP Peter Kyle.

Four police officer raided her home on 17 June 2025. They seized her electronics. Held her for over eight hours with no one knowing where she was. Released her on strict bail. Charged her in late 2025 under the Communications Act.

The case dragged on for a full year. She faced multiple court hearings including not-guilty pleas.

The emails were described by those who read them as articulate and non-abusive— simply expressing horror at events in Gaza.

The man who triggered the police complaint? Her own constituency MP, Peter Kyle:

- Britain's trade minister responsible for arms exports to 'israel'.
- Long standing member and previous vice-chair of Labour Friends of 'israel'

Kyle has been accused of breaching the Ministerial Code by failing to declare his LFI membership in the official List of Ministerial Interests for 18 months despite the clear conflict.

The case was finally dismissed yesterday, with costs awarded to Claire Kerrison.

This is why British politicians who are paid/influenced by the 'israel' lobby must be banned from public office.
